On September 22, 2017, the delegation led by the Vice Chairman of CCPIT and CIETAC Lu Pengqi and Secretary-General of CIETAC Wang Chengjie visited CIETAC Hubei Sub-commission to give guidance on work. The Chairman of CCPIT of Hubei Province Zhou Caijuan, and the Vice Chairman Zhang Aiming accompanied the visit.

Lu Pengqi pointed out that the building of CIETAC sub-commissions is an important work of CIETAC. The development of CIETAC sub-commissions should rely on the CCPIT local branches, further enlarge their influence on the enterprise members of CCPIT system, and extend the sources of case. Meanwhile, the sub-commissions should support the activities of CCPIT local branches, perform a good function of providing public legal service, and make contribution to the improvement of local business environment. The sub-commissions should keep in mind the idea of providing service and handle every case equally, fairly and efficiently, so as to win a good reputation in the arbitration community and demonstrate the public credibility of CIETAC arbitration by the practice of arbitration in specific cases.

Zhou Caijuan said that she would promote Hubei enterprises to use the arbitration clauses of CIETAC and its Hubei Sub-commission in the contract with foreign enterprises, devote more efforts to the publicity of Hubei Sub-commission, continue supporting CIETAC arbitration in Hubei, and live up to CIETAC’s expectation.

The Secretary-General of CIETAC Hubei Sub-commission Yao Junyi reported on the work of Hubei Sub-commission since its establishment. He said that all the staff of Hubei Sub-commission would study on and implement the spirit of the leaders’ keynote speech and actively work on the publicity and promotion. Hubei Sub-commission would handle the cases fairly and efficiently and further improve its level of work.
