On June 9, 2017, a joint study group of commercial Law led by Vice President of CCPIT Hubei Sub-Council Zhang Aiming and Secretary General of CIETAC Hubei Sub-Commission Yao Junyi visited the Yichang Intermediate People's Court of Hubei Province and had discussions with the Vice President, and the presiding judges of the Civil Adjudication Tribunals No. 1, 2 and 3 and the Research Office of the Court.

Vice President Wang Chunhui welcomed the visit of the group on behalf of the Yichang Intermediate People's Court and introduced to the visitors the management process of the Court on judicial supervision of arbitral awards. He acknowledged that the development of arbitration service is beneficial to releasing the stress of the court system. He also expressed respect and support of arbitration and stated his position on performing the responsibility of judicial review of arbitration awards in accordance with the law, exercising caution when refusing to enforce arbitral awards, and supporting CIETAC Hubei Sub-Commission in property preservation and award enforcement procedures in accordance with the law.

Secretary General Yao Junyi expressed his gratitude to Vice President Wang Chunhui for his support on the arbitration cause of CIETAC. He also made an introduction on the establishment and operation of CIETAC Hubei Sub-Commission. He acknowledged that CIETAC Hubei Sub-Commission will strictly follow the prescribed rules in performing its duties and subject itself to the judicial supervision of Yichang Intermediate People's Court. The two sides also shared their views on arbitration services and institutional development in the free trade zones.
